We have had a great time in the Boston area. A huge thank you is owed to Andy and Ann, who let us stay at their house, treated us to several delicious meals, and provided us with many useful contacts. We headed to Peabody in the morning to give a presentation at St. John's School. We visited with all of the fourth graders. They were a great audience and asked many inquisitive questions. Thanks to Bill, Shelagh, and Maura for setting up the presentation. We headed back downtown and our new friend Paul gave route advice and many more contacts down the shore. The weather has deteriorated throughout the day. Looking out the window now, we are very glad to not be on the water. A storm is moving through and we hope to start paddling again tomorrow afternoon.
