We left Plymouth late in the morning. We had so much fun staying with Lili and Gordon. I was sad to go, but eager to get back on the water. The weather was perfect – sunny with a light tailwind. We paddled past a nuclear power plant. At one point Dave saw hundreds of fish in the water. We stopped briefly on a beach for lunch. Two other kayakers had the same idea. It was fun to talk to them. We landed on Scusset Beach, near the Cape Cod Canal. There is a State Park here, so we looked into getting a campsite for the night, but it was full. We called another campground and walked down the bike path for several miles. Walking in the evening was nice because the weather was cooler. A lot of people who were riding bikes or walking on the trail stopped to ask us what we were doing. I guess it is sort of an odd site to see kayaks wheeling down a bike path.P9230491
