We splurged a bit this morning and bought some eggs for breakfast. With fresh tomatoes and cheddar cheese, they were delicious! Then we followed the shade while working on our computers until lunch. JF, the owner of the kayak shop brought us an amazing banana nut bread his wife had baked which we ate for lunch. We are very thankful to him for his generosity and kindness towards us, this would have been a much more stressful situation without his help. The UPS truck came after lunch and delivered our much awaited package. 23 pounds of delicious and nutritious Clif Bars! We got on the water around 2:30; it felt great to be paddling again. We paddled only about 12 miles which took us three hours. We camped just before the last dam on the Ottawa River. Today, we saw several cows, a Turkey Vulture, three terns, and a red squirrel. It was a little cooler today than it has been, and we had a great tailwind.
